Rules
The 2026 All-in Blind Poker League will consist of 10 Events and a Championship Table. Points accumulated during the 10 Events will determine a player’s starting chip stack at the Championship table.
- 1.The cost to play is $40 per week ($400 total). Half of the total league fee is due Week 1 and the second half is due Week 2. Players cannot earn points or cash if their league fees are not paid. Cash rewards from Week 1 will be applied to balance due if the player has not paid the full league fee yet.
- 2.Events will take place on Sundays at 5:00 p.m.. Typically, we play every two weeks, but there are some exceptions this year, see the full schedule.
- 3.Substitutes are allowed. There is a $5 substitute fee, due at the time of the event. If a player does not show up for an event or send a substitute, the player will receive 0 points for that event. If you need a substitute, please call in advance. If the tournament director can find a sub, they will be on a first come, first serve basis. Ultimately, the responsibility of finding a sub is the player’s.
- 4.Players will be seated by random draw for Event 1. For Events 2-10, players will be seated according to where they finished in the previous event. For example, the winner of the previous event will be seated at Table 1 Seat 1, the runner-up will be at Table 1, Seat 9, etc. (Table 1 – 9 players, Table 2 - 9 players, Table 3 - 8 players, Table 4 - 8 players.)
- 5.All bets should be announced verbally. In addition, all verbal bets are binding.
- 6.String betting is not permitted. Chips must be bet in one motion unless a verbal amount is announced before putting any chips into the pot. Only the first chips put into the pot will be allowed if a player string bets.
- 7.DON’T SPLASH THE POT!!! Penalties may be accessed by Tournament Director for repeat offenses.
- 8.Raises should be announced before chips are put into the pot. A raise must be at least double the previous bet or raise amount. Single chip rule in effect, if a player puts in a single chip without announcing raise, the bet will be considered a call.
- 9.Minimum bet is equal to the big blind. There is no maximum bet; a player may go all-in anytime it is their turn to bet.
- 10.If a player’s cards touches other down cards (either previously folded or burned cards), that player’s cards are now dead and considered folded.
- 11.Players should not discuss the hand while it is still in progress. The only time a hand should be discussed is by players involved heads-up and only by those players. We have been pretty loose with this rule in the past, but it has gotten a little out of control and will be enforced this year. A warning will be issued for the first offense and penalties assessed after that.
- 12.The number of players at the tables will remain within 1. If a table has two more players than another table, the tables will be evened by the Tournament Director. The player that would be the big blind in the next hand of the table with more players will move and take the seat closest to the big blind (including the big blind).
- 13.A table will be broken when we reach 27, 18, and 10 players remaining.
- 14.Burn cards must be kept separate from all other muck cards.
- 15.Cards must be cut.
- 16.These rules are a work in progress and are subject to change without notice.
- 17.Players will start each event with 20,000 in chips.
- 18.At least six rebuys will be allowed for each event. Rebuys are first come, first serve. Once the last rebuy is purchased, all tables will complete the hand they are on and play one more hand before rebuys are closed. This ensures players will always know which hand is the last chance to rebuy. The cost to rebuy is $40. Players who rebuy will receive 20,000 chips. Players will be permitted to surrender their stack at the end of the rebuy period. All of their current chips are voided and they may rebuy 20,000 chips for $40.
- 19.The blinds will increase every 20 minutes. Blinds for the Championship Table will be altered to suit the total number of chips in play. All events will utilize a big blind ante. The ante will be equal to the small blind. If a player is unable to afford both the ante and the big blind, they will pay the big blind first (this is contrary to normal tournament play because we aren’t assholes, see Rule 24 for more information).
- 20.League points will be based on the number of players. Last place will earn 1 point. Points will increase by 1 point. Starting with 10th place, points will increase by 2. Starting with 3rd place, points will increase by 5. 1st place will earn 53 points. Players will also earn 1 per bounty they collect each week. Be sure to put your bounty chips on your name card after you are eliminated. It is the player’s responsibility to record their score on the point tracker each week! Failure to do so may result in 0 points. League Points will be used to determine each player’s chip stack at the Championship Table, see table for details.
- 21.The Tournament Director (Terry Kuhl) will have the final say on all rulings after a fair discussion with the group. If a call must be made that involves the Tournament Director, the decision will be made by the Second Chair (Andy Stout). If they are in the hand together, it will be settled by cage death match, or by a majority vote of other players present if no cage is available.
- 22.The tournament will use a dead button rule. If the small blind is eliminated, during the next hand the button will be in the “dead” seat, so no player misses their blinds. If the big blind is eliminated, there will only be a big blind the next hand and the following hand there will be a “dead” button. If both blinds are eliminated, there will be a dead button and only one big blind, followed by another dead button and normal blinds.
- 23. Satellite Tournaments: There will be one optional satellite tournament before the regular season begins. Buy-in and rebuy amount for these satellites will be $50. These tournaments give players a chance to win their full entry into the league before it begins. 1st place will win their $400 buy-in for their league fee (assuming there are at least 8 entries and rebuys). 2nd place will also win up to $400 (based on number of entries). No league points will be awarded during the satellite event.
- 24.No assholes. Penalties will be assessed at the Tournament Director’s discretion.
- 25.Cards Speak. If a player shows down their hand, the best possible 5 cards will play. Even if the player verbally declares a different value (for example, if the player tables their hand and announces two pair, but they also have a straight, the straight plays).
- 26.Optional Bet for Major Tournament Satellite - Players have the option of paying an additional $100 to qualify for a Major Tournament Satellite. Only players that pay the additional $100 on Week 1 will be eligible to win the Major Tournament Satellite. The player with the highest number of points after Week 10, who is eligible, will win the package. The package will include a buy-in for another tournament. The player will be required to send a photo of their buy-in receipt. 15% any cash winnings (before taxes), that the player wins, will go back to the players that were eligible for the package and split evenly amongst them. If the winning player decides not to play in the chosen events, the package will go to the second place player, if time permits to make the change. Otherwise, all money will be returned to the players that paid in. Qualifying events are any WSOP event or the Reserve Million Dollar Guarantee (or similar event chosen by the league). Payouts will be determined after Week 1.
